Job Summary:The role will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient management of the Group’s financial resources and overall responsibility for the provision of corporate services to subsidiaries. Strategic, Budgeting and Planning: Oversee and drive the development of the Group’s financial strategy, work plans and programs, to ensure alignment with the Group’s strategy, goals and objectives. Provide overall guidance, leadership support and strategic direction in the execution of the Group’s finance function and activities. Oversee the development of the Group’s corporate budget and the allocation of financial resources. Coordinate the proactive monitoring and reporting of budget positions of all the business departments and units. Oversee tax planning to optimize the Group’s tax position and ensure tax compliance accordingly. Financial Control: Coordinate the development and implementation of finance and accounting policies, processes and procedures in line with leading practices. Ensure the establishment and implementation of best practice financial activities supported by sound financial discipline in line with the Group’s finance policies. Oversee the establishment of efficient controls to mitigate identified financial risks. Coordinate the identification of risks and medium to long term financial implications of intended corporate projects/ initiatives, and provide relevant advice to the Group’s executive management. Ensure the development, implementation and compliance to delegation of authority framework. Authorize expenditure/ transactions in line with the Group’s approved financial authority limits.
