Position: IT Manager Job Descriptions The Senior IT Engineer assists students, faculty and staff to maintain, repair and configure laptops and desktops. IT Engineer is responsible for general maintenance of University’s desktops and laptops. S(he) is responsible for supporting and maintaining the university’s Computers and peripherals, and for providing efficient desktop support for members of the university community. The IT engineer is also responsible for resolving any IT-related faults quickly and efficiently, including a broad range of queries from how to set up an email account to system diagnostics, plus enhancing and developing the IT provision extended within the university.
